Events

Art for Ankeny is a fundraising organization who's mission is to commission an iconic, destination-caliber public art installation in the heart of Ankeny.  Our mission is not focused around events but we do encourage and promote our community to get involved and attend art-related events throughout the year. 

We do organize one large event annually, our Celebration of the Arts, as our fundraiser.  This event, held in late Fall/early Winter, showcases up to six local artists and includes a silent auction as our vehicle of raising funds. 

The 2016 Celebration of the Arts will be held at Firetrucker Brewery on Monday, October 24, 2016.  Doors will open at 6 pm and you may purchase your tickets via our Facebook event.
